A special mention goes to the manager, Sonja, who was truly exceptional—kind, attentive, and highly professional, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience throughout the stay. SANA TULUM is perfect for travelers seeking a boutique eco-luxury experience, combining jungle, beach, sustainability, tranquility, and understated elegance in one of Tulum’s most beautiful settings. What I liked most about this property is how luxurious and homely it feels. From the moment you arrive the staff are so lovely and attentive the entire time. The place is decorated so beautifully you just want to take photos everywhere you go. The pool in the room is a once in a lifetime experience. The food at the restaurant was perfect and there is a cute boutique at the front. The hotel itself is really perfect and adds to the bohemian experience of being in Tulum.

The room was beautifully designed, had all the necessities including a kitchenette and the hotel had hammocks and a pool. On top of that, the monkeys that visited the hotel grounds daily were the highlight of the stay! We could feed them on the ground floor as well as in our own balcony. The hotel was half an hour away from Xel-Ha park and is also extremely close to Xcaret parks Xplor and Xenses.

The staff were exceptional, and the whole experience was fabulous. Despite the rains we had a beautiful time. They also had a great wellness activity lined up every day. Absolutely loved it! Point to note is that it is a good drive away from the streets of Tulum.

Our three-night stay at Casa Altamar was simply wonderful. The beachfront location is so good. We enjoyed the opportunity to use the hotel-own kajaks to paddle a bit out and go for some snorkeling. Our room had ocean-view and was bright and comfortable. We very much appreciated the free breakfast buffet that is offered in the low season. Hotel manager Arturo was the nicest person, but all staff members were great.
