The food at the restaurant was perfect and there is a cute boutique at the front. The hotel itself is really perfect and adds to the bohemian experience of being in Tulum.

The hotel was half an hour away from Xel-Ha park and is also extremely close to Xcaret parks Xplor and Xenses.

The staff were exceptional, and the whole experience was fabulous. Despite the rains we had a beautiful time. They also had a great wellness activity lined up every day. Absolutely loved it! Point to note is that it is a good drive away from the streets of Tulum.

Our three-night stay at Casa Altamar was simply wonderful. The beachfront location is so good. We enjoyed the opportunity to use the hotel-own kajaks to paddle a bit out and go for some snorkeling. Our room had ocean-view and was bright and comfortable. We very much appreciated the free breakfast buffet that is offered in the low season. Hotel manager Arturo was the nicest person, but all staff members were great.
