Offering direct access to Playa Norte Beach, on the beautiful island of Holbox, Holbox by Xaloc features luxurious rooms and bungalows with terraces. The beauty of the island and the hotel convinced us to give up the next stop in Tulum, nowadays impracticable, and extend our stay here. We stayed in both the bungalows and the standard rooms and we can assure they are both very nice. The hotel is on the best part of the beach and is a easy 5-10 minute walk via playa from the center of town, full of life with many bar and restaurants even on the way walking, even if the streets are flooded. In addition to the very kind staff you will be in the company of two beautiful cats and a family of raccoons. A special thanks to Adam, great concierge who helped us excellently during our stay.

The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely attentive, adding to the sense of personalized boutique hospitality. A special mention goes to the manager, Sonja, who was truly exceptional—kind, attentive, and highly professional, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience throughout the stay. SANA TULUM is perfect for travelers seeking a boutique eco-luxury experience, combining jungle, beach, sustainability, tranquility, and understated elegance in one of Tulum’s most beautiful settings. What I liked most about this property is how luxurious and homely it feels. From the moment you arrive the staff are so lovely and attentive the entire time. The place is decorated so beautifully you just want to take photos everywhere you go. The pool in the room is a once in a lifetime experience. The food at the restaurant was perfect and there is a cute boutique at the front. The hotel itself is really perfect and adds to the bohemian experience of being in Tulum.

On top of that, the monkeys that visited the hotel grounds daily were the highlight of the stay! We could feed them on the ground floor as well as in our own balcony. The hotel was half an hour away from Xel-Ha park and is also extremely close to Xcaret parks Xplor and Xenses.
