Octant Évora delivered a true 5-star experience from the moment we parked until we left. The hospitality stood out right away, every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We enjoyed both the dinner and the breakfast buffet, and every dish tasted fresh, flavorful, and rooted in Alentejo's traditions. Our spa massage was another highlight, fully relaxing and beautifully done. The entire property felt carefully designed to inspire calm, with elegant amenities and thoughtful touches everywhere. What made the stay unforgettable, though, were the small moments: walking along the wooden viewpoints by the lake, savoring the peaceful landscape, and exploring the "Horta do Chefe" where we met baby goats and other animals. It felt like being connected to nature without giving up any comfort. Octant Évora captures the soul of Alentejo: slow, warm, delicious, and full of life. I can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy it all over again, this time with even more sun, pool time, and long walks by the water :)

Surrounded by 80 000m² of beautiful gardens, this 5-star hotel is 4 km from Évora city centre and housed in a renovated 15th-century convent. It offers a piano bar and free parking. The pool was gorgeous, and the pool bar, food, drink, and staff were excellent. The grounds were amazing, it was like staying in a museum. The restaurants were delightful, the food delicious. The price for all these outstanding grounds, the room and accommodating service was incredible.

Two weary cyclists arrived for one night. We were delighted! Ines—one of the owners— is warm and welcoming. Our room was splendid—comfortable, lovely, overlooking the beautiful pool. Breakfast was perfect—obrigado Patricia! We liked this beautiful Solar ( a former school where Ines was a schoolgirl—how cool!) so much that we stayed one more night! My friend left for work in Lisboa and I stayed for a third night! One night turned into three because it is so delightful! I have cycled 94,000+km around the world and have stayed at well over 1000+ hotels around the world on every continent except Antarctica—Solar Dos Frades is one of the best! Obrigado Ines! Always smiling. This place by far exceeded our expectations. Just a stunning hotel. The attention to detail is second to none. Staff are just incredible- the highest level we have ever experienced - giving their absolute best in kindness, attention and generosity in a kind and authentic way. Rooms are stunning and beautifully decorated with excellent bedding, beautiful linen, luxurious bathrooms and immaculate cleaning and attention to details. Pool is luxurious and well attended allowing for an amazing relaxing time and they even give you 2 x divine hats to lounge by the pool in style! Breakfasts were generous, super delicious, great friendly smiley service and the restaurant is out of this world, just so tasty, every single dish- and we tried them all! Super cute town, divine surrounding beaches and you can hire electric bikes to go exploring. We enjoyed our time so much and highly recommend!! . We would stay here again a heartbeat and cannot wait to return to this perfect, calm, amazing place which literally feels like heaven.

Our airconditioning failed with was notable at the reception, directly the staff knocked out our door to fix it. Quality bedding and clean. Nice rooms. All rooms have special names with dedicated sweet referred to the room type. 15 minutes walk time downtown.

This hotel is amazing, the vibe feels like a special oasis in a beautiful desert. The outdoor pool is is magical as it looks in the photo, it also has an indoor pool and a really beautiful sauna too. The rooms are spacious and clean/new feeling, with really comfortable beds. The food is great, and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. Absolutely 10/10 of a hotel, we'll be back!

São Lourenço do Barrocal is located in the foothills of the medieval village of Monsaraz and nearby the Alqueva lake. Amazing hotel and amazing staff.

Tons da Terra - Casa de Campo & SPA se nachází v São Domingos v regionu Alentejo, 28 km od Vila Nova de Milfontes. Nabízí venkovní bazén, celoroční venkovní bazén a dětské hřiště. Place is offering calm and tranquil stay. Rooms very clean and well maintained. Carina was super host and was always there to answer any question asked. Definitely will go back again.
