Staying at Solar de Vila Meã was a beautiful experience from start to finish. The first thing that struck me was the setting — it’s absolutely stunning. Surrounded by vineyards and peaceful countryside, the entire property feels like a hidden retreat. Every view, whether from the room, the pool, or the garden, looked like a painting. There’s a real sense of calm and space here that’s hard to describe but easy to fall in love with. The restaurant, Barro, completely exceeded expectations. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely proud of what they serve, which made the whole experience even more special. If you’re looking for a place that combines natural beauty with exceptional food and a sense of quiet luxury, I couldn’t recommend Solar de Vila Meã more highly.

Boasting mountain views, Lodges Minho offers accommodation with terrace, around 34 km from Braga Se Cathedral. A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. The pictures honestly don’t do this place justice. It is a true paradise. The location is ideal and the owners are so sweet. They’ve thought of absolutely everything. I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough.

The Apartment with the view was fantastic. The spa was also Great and clean. Great Place to recharge your batteries and enjoy the quiet nature.
