Boasting a splendid setting between mountains and sea, this charming Provençal style guesthouse is set in the historic town centre of Hermanus, overlooking the picturesque Old Harbour. The location was perfect with a view from our balcony to the bay. The rooms were spacious and the shared common room were fantastic. The staff we exteremely kind and responsive. They gifted us a bottle of wine for the most minor of inconvenience. The breakfast box for our early morning departure was tremendous!

Perched on top of the cliffs overlooking Hermanus’s Walker Bay, The Marine offers first-class splendour and elegance and a spectacular seascape, with imposing views extending across Western Capes... The rooms were great; the food was excellent and we really enjoyed our afternoon tea at the hotel.

De Kloof Heritage estate is a Cape Dutch boutique hotel and spa , is just a few minutes walk into the heart of Swellendam. It has a 12-metre outdoor pool and spa with panoramic mountain views. It’s an absolute gem! This boutique hotel is truly beautiful — the entire property is stunning. We stayed in a duplex room with a gorgeous view, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us. The breakfast was also exceptional — fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented.
