From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Martine, who made us feel right at home. The tiny house was clean and fully equipped – we didn’t miss a thing during our stay. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was excellent too. One of the highlights for us was spending time in the beautiful garden, which offered plenty of privacy and peace. Each morning, we enjoyed breakfast by the calming river that runs next to the property – truly a perfect way to start the day! The village of Villefort has everything you need: a bakery, butcher, small supermarket, greengrocer, tourist office, and even a weekly market. There’s also so much to explore in the surrounding area, and the nearby lake is stunning. Definitely ask Martine for recommendations – she’s more than happy to share tips on what to see and do in the region. Her suggestions made our trip even more memorable. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature in a charming and welcoming setting!

We liked the location and being in a local area with a nice owner. The food and water was definitely helpful because we were exhausted and it felt welcoming which is what I love to be welcomed with while travelling.
