The place was warm, cozy, spacious and it truly felt like home. Breakfast was excellent, the host was great with communication, and toiletries were thoughtfully provided. It was a great spot to relax and spend quality time with family ,a real home away from home.

I'm generally not a person that stays in small huts like this, but I was positively surprised by this one. It isn't the most spaceous, but it was great for the two days we stayed there, and if you're a more wilderness/camping kind of person, I definitely recommend it. The surroundings were lovely woods with some nice walking paths, that especially at night provided some great opportunities for star watching, and the hut itself has a nice little kitchen with everything you need (except maybe an oven, but if you do it right, you can definitely do without that), and a nice and clean shower, the beds were also very comfortable. Every hut also has a fire place outside, and the owners provide firewood upon request, if there is no fire ban at the moment, which can happen if it becomes too dry. I can definitely recommend this if you are looking fora little bit more adventurous stay!

She greeted us when we arrived and our room even had its own Christmas tree in it. She's put a lot of work into her place and it shows!! We absolutely loved staying there and would do it again. It was truly a home away from home.

The simple facade belies a superbly and stylishly renovated stay. It was meticulously clean and equiped with everything we could need , even down to seasonings for cooking in the cupboards . Great decor and lovely landscaped back yard and pavilion .

Great house, newly refurbished and clean. Sad that we could only stay for one night. It would be definitely worth staying for a few days.

Huge living room with large comfy couch and 80(?) inch TV for relaxation after long days of walking. Large, well-equipped kitchen. One large bed room and one enormous bed room. Usually large and comfortable beds. All beautifully decorated in a mix of classic and bohemian style. Stein Inn (very nice pub) and Loch Bay (Michelin star restaurant) in walking distance (but a bit of a walk; almost 4 km). The host is very responsive and friendly (not that we had any issues, but we had some questions before arriving).
