New, spacious, beautiful villas just a 3 minute walk from the beach. We originally had booked another hotel on Gili Air, but after one night decided to change due to noise from construction and rusty water filling the bath. Ari and his team welcomed us and had our villa ready within 30 minutes of booking. When staying on remote islands with limited infrastructure, I have found you typically have to temper expectations just a little, but this was not the case at Lasai. We were in villa 1, an absolutely beautiful room with cold AC, sparkling pool, soft and comfortable mattress, and plenty of hot water for a nice relaxing bath. The photos on the website don’t do it justice! Very well insulated so you can’t hear the Muslim prayers at 0400, and light blocking shades ensured a restful sleep. Daily breakfast was served in the villa and a filtered water cooler made our stay extra comfortable, and the mini bar had great wine and other soft drinks. No request was too much trouble and they always replied quickly via WhatsApp. Another review mentioned the ‘delicate’ robes. I wore the robe daily, it was SO comfy and soft, and very well made. This place will forever be our go-to on Gili Air!

Our hosts went beyond to support our stay and help us navigate the place, the activities and made things so much easier. The room was great, the location was peaceful, and the young guys offering their personal scooters and helping us find places to go was fantastic. It has been the best part of my travels in Indonesia so far.

We were served the best breakfast on the island, with a variety of choices day by day. The place is squeaky clean and almost free of mosquitos, as the cleaning team also takes proper measures for that. We had such a great holiday, thanks to Toni and to the friendly and helpful team onsite, as they made us feel like home. Also, Toni is a kind person, very responsive and attentive to our needs.

We stayed 4 nights in this property and it was my best experience from my whole trip in Indonesia. Hero and Dani are the best hosts ever, they like to share the sasak culture and teach a lot of things about traditions, food, everything… We met a lot of local people, even participated to a traditional wedding, went to teach English to children, it was so enriching. We felt like a part of a big family. I will miss you guys, I hope I could come back to see you again. Don’t hesitate to go in this place, I recommend 100 % !
