The location was quiet, but an authentic little Irish home: Maggie's home from the late 1800s till 1987. A neighbour described Maggie as "Magnificent for this world: very intelligent and witty" and Gerry and Kathleen's brief note about Maggie gave further insight, which made sharing her home very special. Clean with great linen, good bathroom, a well stocked kitchen, comfortable sitting room, nice outdoor setting and sufficient heating.

This is a fantastic house in a fantastic location, perfect for using as a base to explore Ireland, it's on a quiet road but only 5 minutes drive from the town with lots of shops and supermarkets ETC, the house is gated and there is plenty of room to park our car securely, the grass was cut which was great for the Children to play in, there also was a small table provided in the porch where we could sit and watch them . Inside the house was perfectly clean with everything you could need, We very much appreciated the tea coffee biscuits ETC that was left for us to use, the beds are very comfortable and also there was a travel cot , loads of space inside as there is two big living rooms, for us it was very very good and we have booked again already

We stayed here as we had a wedding to go to at Cloughjordan. Really lovely little house and perfect location for the venue. Cloughjordan is quite a small down, but it's got a couple of shops and a cafe. If you want to cook in the house there is also plenty of things to use, such as olive oil and a few seasonings etc. which was a lovely touch. Hosts we're lovely and I would definitely recommend!

The inside was very modern and cosy, the facilities felt never ending and the bed was very very comfy overall a beautiful property.

The house was absolutely beautiful—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The location was perfect, 5 mins drive to Rock of Cashel. The owner went above and beyond by helping us recover an item we had forgotten and even surprised us with some essential items we didn’t expect. Truly a wonderful experience from start to finish!

Fresh scones, cookies and milk on arrival were a lovely surprise and fresh eggs for the morning were very much appreciated. The games room is a great addition to the experience.

The house is still an ongoing project, so there are some small things which could make our stay even better but Veronica is just an exceptional host and she did everything and even more that we asked for. Univerzita Limerick se nachází 48 km odtud.... The cottage was set in a beautiful, quiet area. We loved the cosiness and warmth of the cottage. It was so welcoming and the hosts have thought of everything, milk in the fridge, wine and biscuits for us on arrival and the Christmas crackers were a huge hit with our three kids. They loved the board games and we really enjoyed playing them together in front of the cosy electric fire in the living room. The cottage was spotless and every facility you could need or want was available. We will definitely be back and would recommend without hesitation.

Can't say enough good things about our stay at Birdhill Farmhouse. Check in was a breeze and communication was fantastic from Sue beforehand. We were greeted by her husband and the many farm animals to the rear of the property. (Fred the St Bernard stole the show!) The house was very spacious, spotlessly clean and overall, a very relaxing and comfortable place to stay. It was my friends birthday and I forgot to bring matches for the cake candles. Fear not, after a text to Sue, she had some dropped to the door! Would absolutely recommend Birdhill Farmhouse to anyone thinking about staying near Birdhill / killlaoe. Location is super convenient. :)
