High above the bustle of town, this stand-alone cottage with a private patio set in a lush garden is a mountain oasis. A/c is not needed due to the elevation and fans both inside and outside. Although a solid 30 minute walk from town its worth the peace and quiet and the walk is easy mitigated by renting a scooter (which I strongly suggest) or, if you are uncomfortable with a scooter the host can arrange a prompt and inexpensive tuk tuk. The breakfast is delicious and varied and the host is super responsive and gracious. A bonus is one can start the hike to Ella Rock from the doorstep of the property (+/- 3 hours). My advice is to absolutely stay more than one night!

Offering a garden and garden view, Ella Nest View Homestay is located in Ella, 13 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge and 6.6 km from Little Adam's Peak. I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. everyone was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The accommodation itself was top-notch—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail, from the bedding to the amenities, reflected a commitment to quality and comfort. It felt more like a home away from home than just a hotel rooms.definitely we will back.

Located in Ella and only 6.4 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, The Palace Eco Cottage provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We truly enjoyed our stay and felt welcome and safe throughout our visit. The house is spacious, and offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills, including the Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery. The hosting family is incredibly kind, and the meals they prepared were a real highlight — delicious, plenty, and made with great care. The location is a bit remote, so occasionally tuktuk drivers would only take us to the main road rather than directly to the house. However, you can join the trail to the wonderful Ella Rock hike close to the house half way, so you can be there at sunrise more easily. Overall, a wonderful stay with warm hospitality and great access to nature. Highly recommended!

It’s peaceful, quiet and surrounded by nature, the kind of place that instantly makes you feel grounded. If you enjoy stays that connect you to your surroundings, this is a gem I’d highly recommend. The hosts are truly wonderful. The mother and daughters are warm, hospitable and make you feel right at home. Their kindness makes the stay even more special. The home-cooked food, especially by the mother, is delicious. We ended up eating at the property more often than in town because it was simply better than most restaurants. A beautiful stay, hosted by beautiful people!

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, mountain view and a balcony, Gold Field Villa is located in Koslanda. The service was excellent. The villa had everything we needed.. The view from swimming pool is beautiful. We arrived in the evening, the host of the villa were great they offered such good service, we had delicious food. Highly recommend this villa.
