The breakfast was standard French continental, but that was as expected. It was a little way outside Cluny itself - easily walkable in principle, but unlit after dark. The view across the fields to the Abbey and the Burgundy hills was idyllic, but a little restricted from the bedroom itself. The Saint Lazare suite we had was beautifully furnished, and very reasonably priced. The on-site proprietors were very friendly and spoke very clear French.

Davide and Frederick were excellent hosts. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. Davide also prepared the evening meal for us which was delicious. We spent a wonderful evening with them and left the next day after a lovely breakfast with home made yoghurt ,cake and preserves. Our stay here was a wonderful start to our holiday.

There was a very friendly athmosphere. Our aim was guedelon medival Site so Colas was near, what was very comfortable for us. If ever we would go to guedelon again, we will try to be at Colas also. From our view it is a very recommended overnight stay. Best thanks from us to the Staffel of Colas.
