If you travel by car, then Roeselare is close enough in case you don't want to eat in the restaurant of the hotel. But...why look for something else if the hotel restaurant is very good? Just make sure you make a reservation on time, as the restaurant always appears to be busy (and that says enough I think). My room was nice and spacey just like the bathroom: nice, clean and plenty of space.

I was concerned that there would be a lot of noise from the station, but the sound doesn't carry into the house. The rooms were reasonably quiet even though it is possible to hear an occasional crying baby or drunk in the street. The apartment is stunning. The bed was wonderful. Loads of choice and lovely things to eat. There was courtyard parking as well. Very happy with this hotel.
