Leptokaria was a lovely town close to Mt.Olympus and within walking distance to beach shopping strip. We hired a car a drove to Mt.Olympus and would recommend visiting Mt.Olympus early in morning to avoid the crowds.

A beautiful and quiet place close to the trek to Mount Olympus, a large selection of hotels at fair prices, a beautiful view, an adjacent beach, a selection of restaurants and also a large Lidl supermarket. Perfect for a family vacation and also for trekking enthusiasts like me

Excellent place for sea and mountain experience. Olympus is so close and you must go for it! Very good prices and friendly people. A lot of choices for families and for couples. You can reach by car, by bus or by train! There are a lot of beaches for any taste (rock or sand),having facilities like showers, sun beds etc

It's a nice seaside town.
It's a nice seaside town. When I visited off-season many places were closed, but I found a nice sea-view taverna. Seems like a nice place to visit in the summer. Very close to the main road too, so handy for a short stop on the way south.

When we arrived, there was no parking spot in front of the hotel, but the host/receptionist was kind and offered to move his car to park on his spot, which we were grateful for. He even offered us wine to taste in the hotel. It was too bad it was too hot, so we couldn't try the wine (40c+). The room was being cleaned every day and trash was taken out every day. Towels were being changed every three days. To sum up, it was above our expectations and beyond. The person who received us even carried our suitcases to our room and from our room, so we were very greatful for it. Looking forward to comming again.
