This was my second stay at this location and I liked it because of the convniences. It has the train station next to the Hotel. The bus stop to Amsterdam central is located just behind the Hotel and the supermarket is on the ground floor in the same building. That's what makes the Hotel location ideal for my needs. The staff helped me move to another room at the front of the hotel which is more quieter because the room which was given was behind the hotel, so thanks to the staff for taking care of it. Really appreciate it

This is my third or fourth stay here. It's a very convenient location for me when I visit my son who lives nearby. However the no.13 tram stop is 5mins walk away and takes you to the city centre.. The hotel shuttle to the airport is a good price. My room was clean and comfortable. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The rooftop bar gives a great view of the city. Rembrantpark is just across the road.

The Best Culture and Nightlife this Side of a Canal
Jump on your city bike or hop on a canal boat and admire Amsterdam, the Venice of the North! The beautiful city houses, romantic bridges, iconic canals and street cafés create its unique atmosphere and give you an ultimate taste of its fascinating past.
Famous for its museums, most important of which are located in the Museumplein, Amsterdam offers you a chance to see unforgettable masterpieces by Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Mondriaan and more. The Anne Frank House is a sobering reminder of the city’s more recent history. After a lot of walking, the Rijksmuseum is a great place to rest and get some extra culture before visiting Amsterdam’s lovely Vondelpark.
The medieval Old Centre with the always busy Dam Square and the tempting Red Light District is the most visited part of Amsterdam. Make sure to stop at Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein, homes to the best nightlife venues.
Shop till you drop at Amsterdam’s most luxury shopping street, PC Hooftstraat, the most popular street market at Albert Cuyp or in the fancy design shops of the Jordaan district. Famous pancakes and frites with mayonnaise are a must-try! The more adventurous traveller might want to try the pickled herring, followed closely by a local beer.
All these attractions are just a short train ride from the Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport. Whether you want to stay at a cosy hotel on a canal, a modern apartment in a quiet part of the city or a room in the centre of everything, Booking.com has a perfect accommodation for your Amsterdam vacation.

In my opinion… stay in city centre even if it’s more expensive… just walk everywhere!
My hotel was close to the train station… perfectly located! In May sun sets 9.30pm.. you have all day to explore! The vibe of this city is amazing!!

Beautiful historic city with great museums (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh, Anne Frank House, Rembrandt House). Easily walkable but with convenient transportation (tram, bus, metro, train). Lots of areas to explore including Dam Square, Red Light District, The Nines/Jordaan, Leidesplein (restaurants!), and the museum district. Make sure to take a canal boat tour. Good day trips to Zaanse Schans for historic windmills and Keukenhof for flower gardens.

Great walking city.
Great walking city. Not too large & the canals provide straight routes to walk along Lots of areas to visit. Look out for the bikes - always look both ways at least once when crossing. The locals know how to drive, its the tourists that are dangerous =) as I was told. It's pricier than other euro cities (compared to Cdn currency) but there are local dishes & super markets that provide well priced food. Beer is well priced ! I plan to return for another 4 night stay. Tulips were an impressive sight.

My favourite city in the world.
My favourite city in the world. Great history, marvellous architecture and canals, fantastic museums, and music venues, superb public transport at reasonable prices, friendly, helpful people. There are lots of specific things to do, but it is also great to slowly wander and feast your eyes, soak up the atmosphere and slake your thirst and hunger with numerous street bars, cafes, and restaurants. But watch out for the cyclists and do not dare to block the cycle paths - you will only do that once...

Renting bike best experience.
Renting bike best experience. Bikers superior rase in the city (before cars and pedestrians). You can reach with bike all the city and suburbs even in light rain. No need to plan public transport sightseeing. Free tour guiding high (professional) level. Too many cigarettes on the floor. Very rare or no public toilets (have to use i.e. McDonald for 1 EUR in a queue). Red district normal safe streets to visit. No specific Dutch food except sweats (cookies). You feel inclusive culture for different people. Dutch locals very friendly. Museums high level.

First, the whole central district i.e.
First, the whole central district i.e. Red Light District smells of weed and the floor is littered with broken glasses. So be careful about where you step and if you are travelling with kids or toddlers, be mindful of what they are stepping on or picking up. Also, watch out for the cyclists. They are aware and you may not be immediately aware of the cycling track.
Otherwise, the place is happening with loads of sights to see and restaurants to choose from. Go during April and May and you will get to see the tulips. A typical day out of Amsterdam can bring you to the Tulip Fields, Keukenhof Gardens and the Windmills (can buy a combi ticket for all three).
An important tip is to buy and book your ticket for the Van Gogh Museum and Anne Frank House weeks in advance. The Rijksmuseum is a must go and will take half a morning. Restaurants such as Moeders require reservation which you can make on the website. Go to Winkel43 to try the apple pie and any Indonesian restaurant to try their Nasi Goreng, these are must tries. That said, be aware that the meals in restaurants are expensive (around 20 euros per meal) as they are tourist prices.
I wouldn't buy the IAmsterdam Card if you are only intending to visit a couple of museums. Places like the Van Gogh Museum and Anne Frank Museum are not included in the card anyway.
The location was very convenient for my offices, but if you're expecting to be in in central Amsterdam, this isn't the hotel for you! The city centre transport from the local train station involves traveling out to the airport and then getting another train back into the centre so it isn't very convenient at all. I didn't eat in the hotel, however the (refurbished) room was clean, the bathroom facilities were clean, it was pretty quiet where I was and the room had a huge TV in it that carried UK channels (well, at least BBC1).
Close to the city center but very quiet and safe area. Many nice restaurants in walking distance, including Box Sociall, Olijfje, Ku Kitchen, etc.
Just located on the canal. You can walk along the canal to the center. Just next to Amsterdam Law/Business School.
Spacious with nice interior design.
Very kind reception desk for 24 hours/basic housing supply/garbage cleaning + spacious bedroom/living room/kitchen, offering good points from hotel and airbnb combined.
Security with contactless card entry at the gate and room.
This is my place to go when I want to spend a weekend in Amsterdam. The place is so green and cosy that instantly you are transport to a chill ambient. The cocktails are really good in both places (Restaurant and rooftop bar) I like to choose a room in the 8th floor and I always pay a bit more to have a room with terrace or the Suite that has an increible V shape with awesome views. Pool and Spa are great too! This hotel for me has a great price/value ratio and I found it nicer that some of the 5 star hotels in the city.
Very friendly staff. And a welcoming multilingual cook for breakfast. The location is great: at a 10-minute walk from the main museums, in a nice area of canals (the way to go to the city center is beautiful). Comfortable room and bathroom with bubble bath. I also liked the afternoon happy hours with free access to quality tea, coffee and fresh beverage. Also easy to reach, even if coming to Amsterdam by car (park at P+R Bijlmeer Arena for cheap tariff, take metro M54 to Weesperplein, walk 10 minutes to the hotel).
Absolutely fantastic place to stay! So relaxing and such a short right to the city center. Situated in a small village on the outskirts of Amsterdam, this cottage has a wonderful, picturesque backyard patio, where you can see all the local animals in their natural habitat. The hotel restaurant nearby is absolutely delicious and really takes on any of the inner city ones. We loved the host, had a very intriguing chat with her, she was extremely nice and helpful. Would definitely come again when we are in Amsterdam.
The best hotel I staid in , great location in the city center a walk from central station and dum square but still a quiet friendly neighborhood near the water.
had a room with the view to the dum.
room was clean and they made my bad every day that was really nice. also there is free coffee and tea and they offer pastries in the main floor. The staff was super friendly and nice! got so excited when they gave me a bag of snack to my travel back home .
thank you for a greater experience !!
Enjoyed our stay here very much, the historical building has an interesting configuration and design, a truly visual experience, and the place is filled with a particular energy. The hotel is located in a green, quiet and safe neighbourhood, Metro is 10 minutes away walking distance and there are only 2 stops to get to Amsterdam city center. The room was cosy, clean and comfortable. The hotel's restaurant is also worth visiting, it has a beautiful terrace and they serve good food.
The Hotel is located apprx 2 miles from the Amsterdam Central Station/ City Center and away from the crowds. The 22 Bus is very close to the hotel - it runs often during the day. The staff were very helpful - they assisted me in finding a laundry / wasserette nearby. The hotel's restaurant is an excellent value and the food/ drinks were really good. The beds and room were clean, comfortable and well maintained.
lovely decorative bedrooms with very comfortable beds!! really good location in Amsterdam city centre. staff were very welcoming and helpful. allowed the use of printers for our tickets and allowed us to keep our luggage at the hotel after checking out as we had a late flight. could not recommend more to anyone planning a city break to Amsterdam.. 5 stars !! thank u dwars
The location of the hotel couldn't be better! Step outside the hotel and you have the tram stop that takes you straight into city centre and also to the Museumplein. It is also within walkable distance to Amsterdam Central Station. Walk right next to the alley of the hotel and you'll reach the main shopping and food street! What a steal!
Very friendly staff, spacious rooms with contemporary design, great design of the sitting area in front of the windows. Bluetooth speaker in the room and music channels available, nice!
Excellent location, direct line to Amsterdam Central station passes nearby hotel, 15 min to the city center or Schipol Airport.
The location was quite good and easy to find from the airport 🛫. Also, it's close to the city centre and major attractions in Amsterdam. The Heineken experience is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel and so are many other interesting places. I also saw the booking.com building at the city centre, lol 😆
A cozy, clean and modern hotel.
Located near the museums district and Vondelpark, walking distance from city center (circle canal), great restaurants and cafes near by. And yet it's a quiet street.
Nice staff doing their best to meet your needs.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcomed us in. Our room was very clean and had the facilities we needed. The bathroom was great too, with a large drench shower.
The hotel was ideally situated a short walk from Amsterdam city center.
The breakfast is the best part about this hotel! Easily accessible through metro but a little far from the main city centre. Great rooms and amenities!
Great value for money if compared to the rest of Amsterdam’s properties.
The hotel is in the city centre very close to Amsterdam Central(7 min walking). Very close to the city atractions. Near the hotel very many restaurants and supermarkets. Good breakfast and very nice restaurant ! Nice staff !
Amazing hotel and incredible staff who were very friendly as it was my first time in Amsterdam. Amazing location as everything is within walking distance to the City Centre. Amazing facilities.
Modern and funky hotel, located on Amsterdam Zuidas so city centre is reachable by foot. Breakfast was very nice, with freshly pressed orange juice, and to top it of a terras with a view.
