Amazing view, well put-together country house. Very comfortable and highly recommended. Don't let it put you off, but be aware that the island's air strip is close. There aren't many flights in a day, they're all turboprop planes and given the small size, takeoff and landing is very quick.

First of all: I usually give only 10/10- reviews or write nothing at all. The last review I wrote that was less than 10 is a long time (I think years) ago. I just decided to write this mediocre review, because what I experienced did not match my expectations after reading all this great reviews and seeing the score of 9.8. So first the positive: It looks just like in the pictures and is really beautiful and was very clean when I arrived. The host left some food and even borrowed me a loading cable for my phone. The bed is very comfortable and the shower worked very well. In the bathroom there are even new toothbrushes and razors. The location is stunning, tough not so great, if you don’t have a car, because you have to walk 45 min just to get a coffee.

Well located in Valverde, a good starting point for any destination in El Hierro. The house is quiet and just 10 min walk to Valverde centre. It has a beautiful view and the house, while comfortable, has maintained the character of traditional Hierro houses.

Good location, and all amenities were there. I was pleased there was a fireplace and a washer. There were hiking maps of the island. The hosts were kind enough to greet me despite the late hour. I enjoyed the stay and would recommend.

The setting of the property is stunning and the garden beautiful. It was an absolute delight to have supper on the terrace looking out to La Gomera and Mount Teide on the horizon. Very peaceful with welcome cooling mountain breeze.

Location tranquil, rural, quiet and private. The house is nicely renovated to the rural vibe. Fantastic place to stay in El Hierro. And still close to Valverde for shopping etc.

The house had everything we needed besides it was very quiet, peaceful and full of energy. The views are amazing above all when the sun is setting. The outdoor space one of the best things.
