With garden views, this accommodation features a balcony. we loved our time in Mario's home in Masca which flew by all too quickly and was definitely the highlight of our holiday in Tenerife. The house is small but cosy with plenty of friendly hand-written notes on doors and boxes inviting guests to help themselves to freebies. We loved the fact that the house is high above Masca and so super-convenient for many stunning hikes. Even better, the trail-head is right next to a wonderful viewpoint/bar/restaurant.

The house was decorated simple but with character, the kitchen was well equipped and everything you need was provided (dishwasher tabs, kitchen towels, some salt and pepper, even a big bottle of water and a bottle of wine to welcome you, just bring your own shampoo, in the office there’s also products to share such as olive oil). It’s very clean. The gardens are pretty and quiet, you don’t even notice there are other guests. The owner Emilio is very friendly. El Sitio is located in the old part of the village with white houses with green windows and shutters. The village has a small bar, pizza restaurant, two small supermarkets, gas station, farmacie and even a doctor (Red Cross). It’s just 6 km from the high way, but you feel very much in the country side. Take a small hike up the hill for beautiful views.

Maria was lovely. She welcomed us with homegrown fruit. We stayed 4 nights. The whole place was very clean, spacious and beautiful. Kitchen is well equipped. The view was fantastic! Chio is lovely, quiet and authentic village and the location od the apartment is excellent and close to highway. We are coming back.

The location was perfect outside the touristy and messy area. The facilities were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also very good.

Boasting an indoor pool and views of mountain, Masca - Casa Rural Morrocatana - Tenerife is a chalet set in a historic building in Masca, 20 km from Los Gigantes. The location was fabulous. We were within the majestic scenery. We spent a lot of the time sitting on the terrace looking either down the gorge or up to the rocky ridges. It came with a parking space, which is a premium in Masca. The parking space was also secure and spacious. We also enjoyed the pool after a hot day's walk. Pedro was also very friendly and helpful.
