Set in a renovated farmhouse, this guest house is located by Lake Lagarfljót in Eglisstadir village. I recently stayed at Gistihúsið - Lake Hotel Egilsstadir during a trip to Iceland and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a stunning location overlooking Lake Lagarfljót, and we were lucky enough to spot the Northern Lights during our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing us with tips on the best spots to view the Northern Lights and ensuring that we were comfortable throughout our stay. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The breakfast buffet was also delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. One of the highlights of our stay was the hot tub facility, which was situated outside with stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. It was the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring the area. Overall, I would highly recommend Gistihúsið - Lake Hotel Egilsstadir to anyone visiting the area. The location, staff, amenities, and Northern Lights spotting opportunities are all excellent, and the hot tub is a fantastic added bonus. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotell Stadarborg asub Breiddaluri orus, maantee nr 1 kõrval ja Egilsstadirist vähem kui 1-tunnise autosõidu kaugusel. Hotellis on moodsad privaatse vannitoaga toad. Great value for money! We stayed at their chalet which was pretty cosy. Arnor the owner was very friendly, showing us the facilities and gave useful tips for travelling. They have jacuzzi and sauna at extra cost, we used both facilities and it was very relaxing enjoying the jacuzzi while watching the snow falling. Breakfast was included and they were nice. Check out was smooth. Highly recommended.

Berjaya Hérað Hotel is situated in Egilsstadir, 5 km from Lagarfljot River. It offers a terrace bar and 24-hour room service. All rooms have Wi-Fi, satellite TV and wooden floors. The most elaborate offerings for breakfast, variety, freshness, hot and cold items. Even fried eggs and bacon!

Hotell Studlagil asub Skjöldólfsstaðiris. Selles kolmetärnihotellis on tasuta WiFi-ühendus, restoran ja baar. Hotellis on peretoad. Kõikides tubades on kirjutuslaud. Very comfortable stay. Proximity to Studlagil gorge and amazing staff. Hrafndis was a wonderful hostess.

Eiðar - Hostel asub Eiðaris, 49 km kaugusel Hengifossist. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Mittesuitsetajatele mõeldud majutusasutus asub Gufufossist 33 km kaugusel. Super comfortable place to stay.

Hotell Eskifjörður asub Eskifjörðuris. WiFi-ühendus on tasuta. Privaatses vannitoas on dušš ja föön. Tubadest avaneb vaade mägedele. Lisaks on olemas voodipesu. Breakfast was good. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed all the food! The rooms were spacious and quiet. The staff was knowledgeable and helped us find a good restaurant on town. We recommend this hotel.

This design hotel is located in Fáskrúdsfjördur village in Iceland’s Eastfjords region. It offers free parking and tastefully decorated rooms with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi access. One of the best hotels in Iceland outside Reykjavik. Fantastic location. Comfortable, tastefully furnished rooms. Fine breakfast. Nice and helpful staff

Seydisfjörduri külas asuvas majutusasutuses on tasuta WiFi-ühendusega toad. Egilsstadiri küla jääb 28 km kaugusele. Kohapeal on tasuta parkla. Iceland in the winter is, in a word, an experience. Accommodations and amenities are limited due to it being the "off-season" While breakfast was not included, Sigrid was able to arrange something in the town which was amazing. We also had a storm come over night and she helped with making sure that we could get out and was also concerned that we would make it over the pass. We messaged back and forth to let her know that all was good. I cannot speak more highly of her kindness, hospitality, and caring nature.
