Fosshótel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. All is good except no Wi-Fi on our room at 3/F. It was unacceptable in a 4 stars hotel nowadays. Sauna room with a nice view but it’s opens fri. 10:00 am to 10:00 pm only. It will be much better with long open hours

Ovaj hotel nalazi se na mirnoj lokaciji, na 2 km od jezera Mývatn te 30 minuta vožnje od vodopada Godafoss i vulkanskog kratera Krafla. Everything was great. The view was incredible! Breakfast was amazing as well. We hope to visit this place again.

First you drive to Grimstunga for key (very easy to find on Google map) and that you continues for 7 km to your room. Room is spacious, bright and with terrasse. Kitchen has well equipment. Location is overall good, very close to ring road and close to Detifoss waterfall (east).
