Breakfast is great, coffee, juice, tea is avaible all the time, free of charge. Very calm and silent place, still it's a couple minutes drive from the Golden Circle, and from the nearest town. Our room had a great atmoshphere, attention was paid to aesthetics, which is not common in Iceland at this price range. And chilling in the hot tub under the stars is wonderful for the tired traveller :) Customer service is absolutely great, they were kind and very helpful! I hope we can return!

Very good location, specially if you visit the south Coast and you have excursions planed on the glaciers around. The hotel is small but very cosy, secluded but not far for the main road and the staff members are really friendly and helpful (we were even proposed to dry our clothes in their tumble dryer after a very rainy day). Very good breakfast too, you can even make your own waffles. We would definitely recommand Selja Hotel.

Opened in July 2018, Hótel Kría is situated in Vík. Among the various facilities are a garden and a bar. There is a restaurant. The black sand beaches begin about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel. Service was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Front desk manager was very efficient and took care of our needs immediately. You don’t get this kind of service in 5 star hotels.
