He gave us tips on where to go and what to do. The room and food were amazing. Lars checked the weather so we could see the northern lights. He did everything. The hotel was amazing.

Dating back to the mid-1700s, this elegant waterfront hotel is on Hinnøya Island, by Tjeldsundet Strait. It offers fine dining, free Wi-Fi internet access, and free private parking. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and interesting historical features. Appreciated free tea in a hallway, such a great idea! Breakfast was modest but we travelled during the low season, so it is understandable.

The colourful rooms include comfortable beds and free WiFi. breakfast was included and was amazing, eat large at breakfast and save cash on expensive food later in day, room was excellently heated and very comfy

Overlooking the scenic Vågsfjord, this waterfront hotel is located beside Harstad Culture House. It offers a free evening buffet, a sea-view sauna and stylish rooms with flat-screen TVs. Location near to town and ferry, great views, good walks from town. Warm and clean and excellent service. Great food, one of the best breakfasts we have had. They also made us fish and vegetarian dishes for dinner and a packed breakfast as we had to leave early. Lovely place and highly recommended. Staff were very helpful.
