Great hosts, they were quick to respond to our questions. We only used the apartment for one overnight stay but we would definitely book again for another stay either to travel onwards or to explore the area nearby for a few days.

Offering traditional Baden cuisine, a free indoor pool, and spacious rooms with free WiFi access in all areas, this family-run guest house lies in Hügelsheim, only 3 km from the French border. The single room was a good price and yet spacious and very quiet. The restaurant is very good and breakfast (included) is a wonderful, full German buffet breakfast served in a charming room. The hotel is easy to reach by bus from the train station - even if you don’t speak German. It’s a five minute bus trip to the airport. There are two bus stops within two blocks of the hotel. You can find the bus schedule online.
