The accommodation is comfortable and well thought. I enjoyed the company of our hosts who gave us very nice explanations about what to do in Portugal during our timeframe!

CRASTO PAYVA DOURO NATURE er staðsett í Castelo de Paiva og býður upp á sundlaug með útsýni og garðútsýni. The hosts Cristina and Manuel were wonderful. We arrived late, and Manuel received us with a very warm welcome and help. Cristina spoiled us with very tasty handmade cakes, especially the traditional pastel de nata. They suggested us a very good restaurant close to the hotel. The whole staff were very friendly and made their best to give good and home feeling.

Providing a private beach area, a tennis court and free WiFi, Refugio de Moncorvo is a recently renovated apartment 34 km from Longroiva Hot Springs and 48 km from Mirandela Medieval Bridge. Very friendly owner who helped me a lot, both apartments are lovely and I would certainly use them again when returning in the future. Thank you for the stay.

Our stay was more like a visit with good friends and a highlight of our month long journey through Portugal. We tried to stray from the main tourist route and were amply rewarded! Our hosts, Luiz & Celia, restored the family mansion to its original splendor, in a very authentic manner - the main house as well as the enticing adjacent old stone cottages, which are self- catering. Luiz took us to the remains of the Roman bridge and road, well worth a visit. He also showed us around his own house, a remarkable 'house museum'. Definately worth a detour.

It was incredible! The house is amazing, stylish, super clean, cozy and comfortable. The best stay we had in Portugal. The owner was super responsive and kind (let us stay few hours longer without additional charge). Highly recommended!

Super location, all possible amenities and The owner and host Vítor gave us a wonderful insight into the vineyards and wines that are produced in and around the area by his family.

Quinta de Varzielas - Agroturismo er staðsett í Castelo de Paiva og býður upp á sundlaugarútsýni, gistirými, einkastrandsvæði, útisundlaug, garð og grillaðstöðu. It is the perfect place for a family stay. The house had everything we needed to cook the food, both inside and outside. It is a quite place with a fantastic view over the vineyards and the river. Our kid enjoyed the pool area, especially when the lovely donkey Nikita came by :) The territory is well kept and the staff is polite (and even easy and interesting to speak with even if you don't speak Portuguese).
