The Ship Hotel is less than 13 miles from both Chester and Liverpool. All of the attractions of the Wirral are close by, including the village of Port Sunlight, the Lady Lever Art Gallery, and the area's many golf courses, including the world famous Royal Liverpool Golf Club at Hoylake (host to the British Open in 2014). We had a great 2 night stay here. Our room had a wonderful view out over the estuary, the bed was comfy and the room cosy. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back and explore more of the Wirral. Thoroughly recommended!

Lovely warm atmosphere, great food, staff couldnt do enough for us. Made an anxious time for us, so much easier.

Perfect little cottage, ideally located close to the city centre yet quiet and away from the main road. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was stocked with milk, tea/coffee and even a bowl of fresh fruit. Decent pubs and cafes were only a short walk away and parking was only a 5 min walk, there was even a grassed area at the back of the property for doggies too

The location is very short walk to Chester city centre and Chester train station, a local shops nearby. Very modern and elegant decor. Bedroom is surprisingly quiet considering the property is located by the main road, the bed is very comfortable. You can go to the place and not to worry not having a towels or washing up liquid as It’s has everything you needed for your stay. Private car park with own allocated parking space for the apartment was a very nice touch.

Great location, close to city centre and Chester University Exton Park Campus. Staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and clean. Just off one of the main roads into Chester but still quiet and peaceful. I stayed on a weeknight.

An excellent, quiet boutique hotel with great facilities within walking distance of Chester city centre, where the hosts are very welcoming, friendly and professional. Private parking was an added bonus too. A nice personal touch of a cuppa and home made cake on arrival! Luxurious room and very comfortable bed. Amazing wonderful breakfast with a great choice and using quality ingredients. 10/10 for us for everything. Thank you Dave and Kirsty for a lovely stay, we will be returning.
