Attractively set in Kandy, Ark Cabin Villa features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. The property has garden and city views, and is 1.5 km from Kandy... spacious rooms and neatly organized. Location was also fine, we were able to walk and get a tuktuk at one night otherdays we had car. Steps are also not much, elders can also manage.

For us it was an amazing week that we did not expect the peace of the place, and the ease of getting around. Asela drove us to Kandy any time, we didn't know is was so close, and the drive so easy. It was actually nicer for us to be out of the city and Ascela took us around at a very low cost, we used messaging and always on time to meet us. Restaurants are interesting in town but we enjoyed eating at the home-stay because the food was very very good & healthy, such a beautiful place to look over the valley & their own vegetable & herb garden! We liked going on walks, magnificent views, and Asela actually gave us a little hiking tour! In Kandy, there are tourists like us- at Tedro we had privacy, but also felt part of the community when we took walks. There is a TV but we never used it. We will be back, some day, and we do recommend this precious experience to anyone that wants good food, good sleep (the bed is great, view is really nice) access to town& the sights. In fact, we ended up going on a longer excursion to Siguria with Asela as our driver! He kindly got us there and back safeley, and gave us a lot of space for personal privacy as we did our own exploring. He is a very good guide and his family - downstairs from the room & porches - is respectful.

A beautiful and peaceful place with an incredible view. The rooms are clean and well maintained, offering a perfect spot to relax away from the bustle of Kandy city. The beds were a bit noisy when moving, and our room was close to the breakfast area, so we occasionally heard some morning chatter but nothing that disturbed our stay. Overall, a lovely experience and definitely worth visiting!

Kandy River Lodge is located in Kandy, 2.6 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, 3.7 km from Kandy railway station, as well as 4.4 km from Bogambara Stadium. Newly build. Well maintained. Comfortable Bed. Host gave a free pick up services from the station to the hotel. Hotel is situated in a river side so the environment is super.

Providing mountain views, Paradise Point Nature Cabana Kandy in Kande provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The venue, arrangement, food and hospitality were all top tier. Would definitely recommend to a friend or a colleague to pay a visit to stay here. Mr. Pathirana, the owner warmly welcomed us and briefed us about the facilities and amenities. He recommended us the exceptionally good Pittu (which we claim the best Pittu we ever had) cooked for dinner by his cook, Mr. Chaminda. And he recommended to us their special Kiribath (milk rice) made from a special rice for breakfast. The room was very cozy and had everything we needed. The room had a bathroom and an outdoor shower carved out of a single granite. The backyard of the room was a small hill, grown with flowers and vegetables. On top of the hill (about 25m-50m away from the room), there was a swing decorated with flowers. The dinner and the breakfast were filling and tasty. Mr. Asanka warmly arranged the table for us. After breakfast, Mr. Chaminda walked us to their nearby land to show us their vegetable garden, water lily (Olu) pond and the well next to the Kubuk tree. It was an unforgettable stay for us and we thank Mr. Pathirana, Mr. Chaminda, Mr. Asanka and Mr. Pathirana's wife for that.

Our recent stay here was truly one of the best experiencs we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible hospitality and the stunning location. The owner, Mr. Ajith, has created a beautifull and unique space that feels both relaxing and welcoming. A special thank to Mr. Herath, who was incredibly freindly, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. The highlight of our visit, however, was the food. It was absolutely delicious! …some of the best we've tasted in all of Sri Lanka. We loved the design of the property. We loved the cleanliness. We loved that almost everything was made out of wood, giving the space an attic feel. The a-frame structure is so incredible. The view from our balcony was breathtaking, offering a good view of the mountains. Our group of eight people was very comfortable, and there was enough space for everyone to relax and socialize. Another wonderful perk is that “Bellwood View Point” is very close to the property. A small note for future guests: the access roads are quite narrow and not well maintained. When two vehicles pass, there isn’t much room to pull over, so extra caution is needed when driving. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway with exceptional service and a spectacular view.
