GermanyFor my stay here I would give 6/5 stars if I could. It was all in all just perfekt. The room super nice with a spectacular view. The staff super friendly.
Especially Hajdi who was helping with Tips when we were in the old town at 10 pm. Highly recommend to stay here if you have chance to. We will definitely come back!

AlbaniaWe wanted to hike out during the day, and staying high up in the city made for an easy exit towards the old Ali Pasha bridge. Being allowed to park the car even before check-in was a great help. A clean and stylishly furnished room and delicious breakfast with mountain tea were our highlights. And I shouldn't forget to mention the friendly hosting family and amazing view from the balcony! A visit to see the gigantic old castle at walking distance was a treat the next day.

United StatesThe hotel is beautiful. In fact, it had only been open for 3 weeks when we arrived. The lobby is very inviting with a very nice fireplace and decor. The rooms are very comfortable and upon check in we were greeted with a pitcher of flavored water and some nice drinks and snacks in the mini bar. Breakfast is great, with a selection of items including eggs cooked to order. The location is fine, but there is a hill to walk up in order to get to Old Town. The absolute best part of our stay, though, was Julie who does everything, from checking you in to cleaning the rooms, making breakfast, answering questions, etc. She is the best and the company is lucky to have her as such a great representative. We had a wonderful time!!

AustriaThis hotel is a fantastic place to stay - we loved everything, from the interior, the comfortable bed, the view etc.
Also the terrace was beautiful and the room itself spotless clean.
The staff were so nice, friendly and open hearted. They gave us good recommendations for nearby restaurants and also showed us a place for free parking.
The hotel is just a few minutes walking distance from the old town and the castle. Definitely the best choice we could make. Thanks for making our stay a special one =)

GermanyThanassis is the greatest host, warm, friendly and accomodating. His somewhat remote place rewards you with new and spotless rooms, great views, a fantastic breakfast with local products and otherworldly serenity! Was there with my adventure bike, stayed for two nights and when I left, it felt that I was there for a whole week. The last 2,7 kms to Bujtina KOEL are off-road (starting from St. Mary's church in Labovë), but are manageable even with a normal car if you are careful. Just follow the blue signs to Bujtina KOEL. If you miss the first one, as you will be coming from the West into the village of Labovë, turn left when you face the church in front of you.

The Gjirokastër Castle is a must-see, offering sweeping views of the valley and a glimpse into Albania’s past. The town is walkable and peaceful, making it perfect for slow exploration. Local food is authentic and affordable, and people are welcoming and proud to share their culture. The castle is an absolute must.
The castle is an absolute must. Take your time as there's a lot to see. The bazar is colourful, worth a stroll but quite touristic. Interesting is a visit to the Zekate House and the Ethnographic Museum. And if you stay a bit longer, a visit to the (Unesco) Butrint Park is worthwhile (and in that case take the road via Muzine, since it will give you beautiful views.) Though there're many good restaurants, the KUKA restaurant (opposite the Mosque) was our absolute favorite: excellent food, friendly and professional service in a beautiful gardensetting.Guest review byMichaelNetherlands - 10.0

We stayed for two nights and visited the Llixhat e Bënjës thermal baths on our second day. In the evenings, the Old Town was lively, with lots of people and plenty of open restaurants serving both traditional Albanian dishes and more western options.
