Great location for walks but it’s SO quiet in the evenings! Not much option for good food except greasy ‘and chips’ places. Next time would stay somewhere within driving distance of the Brecon National Park. Expected Brecon to be at the hub of things but wasn’t. Saying that it’s a pretty centre.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

You have to get a cab and that was almost impossible, they really need to improve transport links, I had to book a cab from abergavenny which cost a small fortune just to be able to catch train home. Good size bedroom, comfy, and clean - as is the bathroom/kitchen (shared) and little conservatory/dining area you get for yourself. Quiet and peaceful too. Not far from Brecon itself either for shops/food. Bonus point parking spot around the back off the road.
