BrazilThis modern hotel in Húsavík is amazing. It´s right at the center of the city, has free wifi and huge breakfast. The room was great, and bathroom had underfloor heating. The parking lot has 4 spots with fast charging station for electric cars by Ísorka (and the hotel has 2 extra cables in case of emergency). About the location: it's 40 minutes from Fossholl (Goðafoss and Geitafoss) and 1 hour from Akureyri.

SloveniaThis is a great apartment, and everything is well thought out.
The kitchen is fully equipped (almost like at home) with oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, cleaning sponges, a dishwasher, and a large cutting board. The bathroom provides all necessary toiletries, and a washing machine and dryer are also available.
There is a fold-out sofa bed in the living/dining area, which was comfortable to sleep on.
Communication before and after our stay was clear and smooth.
There’s a free parking space in front of the building. The harbor (for whale watching) is just five minutes away, and the local brewery Húsavík Öl is also within walking distance.
Just a tip: the local grocery store closes quite early, so keep that in mind if you're arriving late.

ChinaThe location is very close to the center of the city. You can walk to the whale watching in 5 -10 mins. You can go to the closest restaurant in 5 - 10 mins. You'll be living at the ground floor, thus you will probably be able to hear the foot step from the upper floor. But that doesn't prevent me from falling asleep. You can always trust the pictures they provided.
