The host goes out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. She decorated the stunning house and all the rooms herself and the breakfast ist delicious. The garden with the pool is an oasis just a few hundred meters away from the town center.

We loved out short stay with Mattieu and Caroline. They were the most welcoming and helpful hosts we have had on our trip so far. Our room was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed and more. It was tastefully decorated, incredibly clean, and beautifully presented. We only stayed one night in Avignon as a stop on the way to Paris, but we wished we had stayed longer. Such a charming and unique village with lots of history, great shops, and a wide range of restaurants—we were so pleasantly surprised! The apartment was in a great location too. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Grivolas and be sure to take them up on their offer for breakfast, it was memorable.

We spent a fantastic two nights at Les Jardins de Baracane. We really appreciated the warmth and thoughtfulness of Olivier and Laurence, which can be felt throughout the place, and makes you feel more like a guest in their home, rather than a hotel customer. We appreciated that Olivier took the time to learn how to pronounce our names, and made the effort to speak English with both of us, even though one of us speaks French. Thank you for a memorable experience!

The hotel faces a narrow alley, we could feel atmosphere and history of the heart of Avignon. The owners of the hotel are very friendly, rooms are very clean. We had a delicious breakfast in a glass pavilion in the garden while relaxing.

The beautiful apartment in an 18th century house is immaculately kept and beautifully decorated by the wonderful host Michele, who is thoughtful in providing accommodation with many extra home comforts. She is very helpful regarding places to visit in Avignon, and our attempting to communicate in French, although she has excellent English. It is in a central location in the old town close to monuments, and many great cafes and restaurants. In the height of summer and the busy annual theatre festival of Avignon it was an oasis to return to, and the private lounge area, and air conditioned bedroom were wonderful, quiet escapes from the bustling, hot town. We slept exceptionally well in the quiet, cool bedroom. Excellent bathroom and shower also.

The warm greeting from Sabine was a wonderful way to start our vacation in Avignon. She was delightful and extremely helpful with lots of good information on what to see, and where to go. The room was spacious with our own private patio. The apartment was clean with everything you needed. We even had a small kitchen and took full use of it, having lunch on the patio. It was quiet and serene, exactly what we hoped for.

Wonderful! It has it all. ❤️ Great location near train station, private parking, very clean, kitchen space, friendly host, coffee shops and other stors near the accommodation. Totally recommend it!
