Fabulously remodeled old castle. All 7 rooms are gigantic, modern and very comfortable with large bathrooms, comfy beds, mini-bars.... everything you could need. The grounds are also beautiful although they would benefit from some thorough pruning.... sorry, I'm a gardener. Your map will give you the wrong entrance..... it will send you to the north gate. So literally back up, go around the property and find the south gate.

The unique interior creates a very classy boutique hotel with a relaxed, luxurious, creating a welcoming feel. The courtyard garden with the plunge pool is ideal for cooling off and relaxing. Also having a projection of media onto the wall changes the ambience taking it up a level in the evening. Fabulous welcoming owners - Dale & Martin who renovated the property. It is central to all the quaint medieval villages, fabulous restaurants, markets and the walks (de Compostelle runs through the town) are inspiring. The hostess, Lydie is a delight and the rooms are adorned with hand picked pieces making the interior as elegant as you could find anywhere. Le Chai is a precious gem in the heart of Frances’ beautiful, sun flowered countryside. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
