The property has all facilities. The rooms are cosy, with Alia being a great host. Lot of places to watch nearby, and bus stop to city center is just a minute’s walk from the property. Overall, loved the stay!

The property is a calm oasis, with a gorgeous garden and beautiful art pieces from around the world on every floor. The furnishings are very tasteful and enhance the Georgian design. Our breakfasts were a highlight,and some of the best we’ve had. Rowena is a masterful cook and baker (her sourdough homemade bread is addictive). Her husband Tom gave us great suggestions on where to go and eat. We wished we had more time to try everything on his list!

Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

Such a lovely place with a lovely staff, who was always ready to answer your questions and interested in your day. Good breakfast brought to the room and a nice quiet location close to bus into city center and just a short walk to the Botanical Gardens

Lorna was an amazing host. In general, accommodation around Edinburgh is quite expensive so we found this place which was relatively affordable compared to other places and had a high rating. It is a house-turned-b&b, has 3 small rooms and a nice small dining room. Everything was super clean and Lorna was the friendliest host we have ever met. She gives you a small form to fill every night to get your breakfast preferences and time to eat. Her cooking is lovely. Definitely recommend her full Scottish breakfast with Haggis. She cooked the best haggis out of the 3 restaurants we tried. The only downside was that the place is quite far from the city (45 min bus ride - take X27) and there is only one bus that goes there but if you catch it and don't mind the travel time, it is definitely worth a stay.

The room and en-suite was so tidy and clean and I'm quite fussy but I couldn't say a bad thing about it. The beds were so comfortable and the room had tea/coffee and water available in it. Craig was lovely and he took the time out to get to know us and our plans and helped us with dining places and transport. He made a lovely breakfast with lots of variety to choose from. I would highly recommend staying at this guest house and I will definitely be back!

Hihetetlenül olcsó volt. Edinburg-i árakhoz képest. Kényelmesvolt mint egy ékszerdoboz. Pár megálló a reptér, ami nekünk lényeges volt. 3 percre Lidli, Domino pizzéria, ëttermek stb. Van külön étkező nem kell a szobába morzsálni. Ha legközelebb meg kell szàllnom ebbe a városba csakis ide jövök. Mindenkinek ajànlom.
