the host was so thoughtful and kind. When the weather forecast says it’s going to rain, they put two umbrellas at the entrance of our room so that we can use them for the day. they also washed some of our stuff and gave us the local Japanese pear when we left. the room was clean and well equipped with kitchen utensils. they have a beautiful view from the balcony and the sky was filled with stars at night. we really enjoyed the stay at Wakka. would recommend anyone to stay there!

I liked how warm the guest room was. The heater was running for most of the evening, which meant that despite the cool temperatures in the morning, where we slept was comfortable and warm. I also liked waking up to the sound of birdsong. It was truly a beautiful place all things considered. Also, the host was very kind: he sat down with us to explain the best hot springs, the best places to get dinner/breakfast, etc.
