A perfect location - few minutes away from the Amstredam Centraal, but very, very quite with a nice canal view right in front of the doors and good places to have breakfast / lunch just around the corner (or, across the bridge - to be more precise) . The room is not too big. In fact, it's quite ascetic - though there is a private bathroom with shower and bed is very comfortable - much better comparing to well known hotel chains in Europe. The building is historic, which means one sometimes can hear some noises from other persons living there (like somebody climbing stairs), but that definitely is a minor thing - it just confirms the authenticity of the building. David is very friendly and helpful person. It's easy and pleasant to communicate with him and to agree about the details.

We had the most incredible experience. Our hosts made everything easy and were incredibly receptive to our needs. The room was gorgeous, spotless and there was a welcome book with a few excellent recommendations as well as little welcome goodies. Check in, check out, suitcase storage etc were all seamless. The location is perfect! Overall one of our best experiences using Booking.com

I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Amsterdam. The room was beautiful and had the cutest garden. Fatos, the host, is one of the nicest and most helpful people I have met. She had amazing recommendations for restaurants, bars, and cafes. I had mentioned we were visiting for our Anniversary and she had a little surprise for us, which I thought was a very sweet personal touch. In general, the place is in a great location and is within walking distance of several landmarks (Anne Frank house is <5 mins walk), bars and restaurants. Would definitely come back and stay here on my next visit as well!
