Excellent location, just in the city centre, in a complete new building.Excelente Mário, the host made us feel like home and gave us the best recommendations for sightseeing and dinning. There are two options for parking, one is free and just 5min walking.

The room we stayed in (Rio Lima) was HUGE. Probably bigger than we needed (2 people) as it was basically a two bedroom apartment. That said, we Loved it....and it had nice added touches like bathrobes. The host was super accommodating and quick to respond. Highly recommend.

The location was an authentic, rural Portugese experience. Our hosts were exceptional. The morning picnic basket was hand delivered to our room. It was delicious! The bed was big, comfortable, and came equipped with extra pillows and blankets. The room was very clean and well done. It was a beautiful Portugese ambiance. Absolutely loved everything.

Some things improve with age. We stayed here in 2019 and liked it. This time, even more! This is a place you could stay for a long time... unfortunately we only had two nights. Big rooms with high ceilings, large and comfortable bed, private shower/toilet down the hall, expansive communal lounging areas, very well equipped kitchen with generous breakfast ingredients, right in the centre of the old town and the community. We want to ask....can we stay here a month or two?

We loved everything about this B&B, the room was clean and comfortable, tea/coffee and cake available on arrival. The small pool was lovely for a pilgrim walking the Camino. But the kindness of the lady of the house was exceptional - we would absolutely stay here again.

An historic home in Viana do Costelo where one can experience life living in a mansion with a huge dining room, Great Room, and rich and luxurious sleeping accommodations. The breakfast is wonderful and prepared to any specific requests. The host (Tiago) was extremely helpful with a tour of the historic home and recommendations for sights and dining in the area. The history of the Casa and Manuel Espregueira e Oliveira is well displayed in the reading room which is like a museum of the highest order, and the Casa has artwork and other features that made it seem like one is living the life of what is otherwise displayed in local museums. A wonderful and rich experience. A must do if possible.

This property is conveniently located close to everything. It was well equipped, very clean and very comfortable. It was the perfect space for my little family’s get away. The host was very nice, prompt and professional. I highly recommend this property.

Large and comfortable room. The host (or staff) even did our laundry. The location is phenomenal. The price is good. Viana do Castelo was my favorite city in Portugal.
