The staff are warm & welcoming & the rooms are comfortable and quiet. The food is also fabulous! We keep coming back as we're very happy staying here!

Great to have a small kitchen, Terry and Nikki were brilliant. Very dog friendly. Plenty of parking. Big family rooms if needed.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated St Vincent Guest House offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. Owners very friendly and accommodating. They had only had the hotel for a year so they were still updating. The owner apologised for our room being a little 'tired'. Maybe but it was tasteful and clean. The breakfast options were great and we felt very well catered for as vegetarians. Good breakfast coffee- not weak like most B&Bs and they had oat milk so we were happy! Our dog was also very happy with the sausages he was given for breakfast.

Offering a garden and garden view, Mounthaven Guest House is located in Dartmouth, 34 km from Newton Abbot Racecourse and 2.6 km from Dartmouth Castle. Fabulous B&B, Rose and Shaun made us feel very welcome. Our room was lovely with a spectectular riverview. We have every intention of returning and would happily recommend to friends.

Situated in Ilfracombe, 700 metres from Ilfracombe, The Devonian features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. We liked Everything! We stayed in seven different accommodations during our road trip and this was by far the best. Piper and Terence are amazing hosts. They are friendly and funny and incredibly welcoming. The house is wonderful, it is designed and decorated with a lot of style. It has a personal touch and a very warm atmosphere. Breakfast was amazing, the table was set with so much love and food was delicious with many options to choose from. The garden behind the house is a piece of heaven. We would have loved to stay a couple of days just for sitting in the different cosy corners they have created.

Situated in Braunton, in a historic building, 24 km from Lundy Island, The Brookfield is a guest house with a garden and shared lounge. Lovely welcome from our host, Chris, who was lovely with our grandson, showing him the family guinea pigs. The family room we had was huge, with a spacious en suite. Everything was super clean, and breakfast was served to the conservatory table; a tray piled with cereals, fruit, yogurts, toast and warm croissants was plentiful, and the coffee was fresh and refills were happily provided. Chris also catered for a gluten free eater with gf crumpets and granola. The house is a one minute walk from all the shops and places to eat in Braunton-, which is a really nice village. Off road parking was useful, and the gorgeous beaches at Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay area both only a 10-15 minute drive away.

Set in Budleigh Salterton and only less than 1 km from Budleigh Salterton Beach, Park House offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Tina is a force of nature: absolutely amazing! She opened her home to us and made our holiday *perfect*. I have seen my fair share of CLEAN places, but this one was an entirely new level of cleanliness--and the breakfasts were the cherry on top. (Some days, literally.) I'm afraid she has ruined all our future holidays though: the bar is set so high now that most likely it cannot ever be reached again.

Set in Moretonhampstead, Cookshayes Country Guest House has a shared lounge, garden and free WiFi. Free private parking is available on site. JJacqui & Robin were excellent hosts, they went the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The English breakfast was great, served in the spacious dining room with a view to the garden. The rooms were clean with lots of storage space. Great selection of books in the dining room/upstairs for those who are interested.

Situated in Totnes, Hunters Lodge Inn features accommodation with a bar, free private parking and a garden. The accommodation offers free WiFi throughout the property. The room was lovely, spacious, and calm. The restaurant/pub was lively with locals, yet there was always space for us and our friends. Food was delicious--great pies, tasty fish, satisfying breakfast, and fine beverages (especially the Jail Ale). But the best part was the hosts: always welcoming and kind, flexible and attentive to details.
