Mini fridge was a bonus with real milk. Hot shower, great access to the esplanade. Hubby loved the sound of the waves on the beach. Easy parking straight out the front. Even a great breaky, nothing was an issue, a hug goodbye. Fabulous, wish we had stayed longer.

Breakfast was excellent and honestly why we chose Portman Lodge. My husband wanted to experience an English Breakfast. Neal was super helpful and friendly. The room was much nicer, comfortable and more modern than expected.

We were able to leave our bags to collect later in the day. The location was fab, close to the train station and to beautiful coastal walks. Friendly owners who chatted with us about local walks and recommendations of where to eat. Can't wait to return!
