I traveled with my mom, who is very particular, and she was RAVING about how wonderful this guest house was throughout the rest of our trip.

We stayed in 3 hotels in Yogyakarta, this one was the best. The owner is very nice and helpful, he cooked for us an amazing breakfast. Was so yummy that we order another breakfast 🤓 Everything is clean and smell good. There is not hot shower but the water is not so cold. I recommend.

Ubytovanie Blue Garden Yogyakarta sa nachádza v destinácii Yogyakarta 11 km od miesta Múzeum Sonobudoyo. It is out in a rural area well outside the city. Very peaceful and relaxing. Room was super clean and air conditioned with a large bathroom ( no a/c) and mini bar. ( Beer and cokes only) It has a small but good restaurant ( reserve meals in advance) and a lovely garden and pool. Looks out on rice fields with birds and nature all around. It is close.to a mosque and you can definitely hear the call to prayer. It added to the atmosphere for us and they turn down the loudspeaker for the 4am call to prayer!. You can borrow the bikes and ride through the working rice fields leased from the sultan. You certainly get to see authentic rural Javanese life but its not for those who want any kind of nightlife! Beer available but no wine, so bring your own if you want to relax over a glass while getting your authenticity!

They provided exceptional service including incredible freshly homemade meals personally cooked by Hany. As a sole traveller they were concerned about my safety and insisted on collecting me from the ballet which takes place within the grounds of the temples and well worth attending. Both Hany and Wibowo provided me with invaluable information with regard to their way of life. The home stay is within a short walk of the temples and approx 17 K from Yogagakarta. Wibowo also provides transport to destinations requested by guests. This homestay is a family home and comes highly recommended
