Very nice staff, helpful and always there for useful information. And the owner lady offered car drop off to the nearby train station after we checked out.

Located in Shimoda, 600 metres from Nabetahama Beach, Guesthouse All you need provides accommodation with free bikes, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. It was a lovely place to unwind. Everything you needed was there. The people running the place were great, super friendly and spoke really good English which made it very easy to ask any question.

Romey is an absolute legend he is one of the best hosts we have had, he made us feel right at home and feel like guests at the same time. Highly highly recommend this spot to anyone wanting a fun getaway in a not so busy part of Japan, really makes it all worth it!

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. Easy to find and in a very nice location. Hosts are very kind and helpful!! They went above and beyond to help out, even giving us a ride to the station when it was raining.

In the Shuzenji Onsen district of Izu, close to Shuzen-ji Temple, Hostel Knot has a shared lounge and a washing machine. Cleanest hostel I’ve ever been in, convenient location, and reasonably priced. But what really blew me away was the service. Hey-san was incredibly helpful with recommendations and reservations nearby. He even helped with our laundry while we were out and about. Our whole group loved staying here.

Set just 42 km from Koibito Misaki Cape, Guesthouse SORA offers accommodation in Minamiizu with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Everything was so neat and tidy. The owner was so kind and everyone staying was so friendly.

Kisami Ohama beach is just a 3-minute walk from, Oli Oli Guesthouse in Shimoda featuring a terrace and bar. The property is located 7 km from Shirahama Ohama Beach. Staff were amazing and super friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding and very good value for money. They were very accomodating and understanding with our dog as well.

J-Garden features a tennis court, a garden and a private-use hot spring bath, a 11-minute walk from Tomito port. Super clean, comfy and beautiful view! All amenities provided with extras like fabric spray, toilet spray, microwave, cutleries and there’s also onsen water piped direct to our private bathroom! Owners were super friendly and helpful despite some language barrier.
