Eduarda is a great hostess and the whole team at Solar de Santo Andre is very accommodating, hospitable, helpful and friendly. The house has been painstakingly renovated and the old rooms from earlier times have been made incredibly beautiful. The rooms, which are open to the public, are reminiscent of how Ponta Delgada used to be and how people used to live there. The guest rooms are very modern and equipped with all the necessary details to make you want to spend time there. I had booked the studio and was absolutely satisfied. The rooms are nicely furnished, are cleaned daily and you have everything you need for your vacation. Breakfast is served in the kitchen with a large table where all guests can sit down. The breakfast offers everything your heart desires: different types of bread, a selection of cold meats and cheese, fruit, yoghurt, coffee or tea is served as well as a homemade juice that varies daily. All guests meet at breakfast and the room invites you to chat. The garden with pool is perfect for relaxing after an eventful day. I had a wonderful time at the Solar de Santo Andre and can only recommend anyone to stay there!

The bedroom and the whole appartement newly renovated were amazing. We stayed only one night unfortunately we wish we could have enjoy more! Very warm welcome by the owner, clear explanations and it was quiet,super clean. Only a few steps from downtown! We recommand this accomodation 100%

The room looks the same as on the pictures. Emanuel gave a lot of tips and sent us a written guidance to the island. He did his best to make our trip memorable. We really liked how he prepared with towels for the beach, hot springs and enough in the bathroom as well. + It was one of the cleanest place I've ever been. He really thought about everything. Thank you so much for every tips and help!

Not too far from the center, located in a calm area with restaurants in walking distance.

The entire stay was an experience, from the warm welcome, the good breakfast, the lovely company and discussions with Rodrigo and the extremely soon and sad leave.

Best of all Miguel very personally yet not intrusively goes from table to table with maps and advises about where and what you might look at. The guidance was flawless
