The host gave us a warm welcome and our expectations were exceeded after arriving at this beautiful and lovely Quinta. Every detail about the interior in the entire pension made us feel cozy and welcoming there. We really enjoyed our stay there and the host was such a lovely and friendly local who really tries everything to make her guests feel like home. Every single morning she provided us with an enriched best breakfast buffet and the food was always fresh and clean. She didn't hesitate a single bit about being asked for anything and she even made the effort to store my birthday cake in her own fridge which we brought with us all the way to our destination. She even got out of her way to arrange with me and my fiancé a little birthday breakfast with our cake. We can't thank her enough for her support and help during our entire stay. We both really enjoyed our chats with her and we also appreciate her own recommendations about some places very much which turned out to be hidden local gems to us. We both really enjoyed our stay in that Quinta and we really highly recommend this place to anyone who plans a trip to Serra da Estrela.

The property features 4 elegantly decorated double bedrooms, all equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. I arrived in a rather dishevelled state after a motorcycle accident on the mountain tracks. Josefa and her daughter were extremely helpful and provided icepacks for a swollen hand and ibuprofen gel as well as directions to the health centre. I ended up spending over a week here and was treated like family. I have never known such unconditional hospitality. They even let me leave my motorcycle at their house while I came back to the UK as I was unable to ride for 12 weeks. The accommodation comprises four rooms of which two have balconies. The breakfast provided was comprehensive with most things you could want. All areas of the accommodation were spotless and cleaned every day.

The guest house has spacious chalets, decorated with wooden furniture and art works in live colours. Each chalet has a kitchen, a dining area, and a furnished balcony overlooking the surrounding area. What a wonderful little paradise in the mountains. I especially recommend it if you love dogs. The view is amazing, they have nice relaxation areas and a great breakfast with an amazing view. Everyone was so nice. Also having our laundry done was so welcome. I can only recommend it.
