The room was very clean, and had beautiful, traditional decorations on the walls. We had a small balcony with a pleasant view. I liked that the bedroom had bedside lights for reading at night, and better ambiance. I also appreciated the extra pillows. (thank you). They had some sweet family wedding pictures in the hall way that I enjoyed looking at. Everything was homey and sweet. We chose to have breakfast and dinner for several of the days we were there, and be prepared.... it is a lot of food. Each day, Iliana (I hope I spelled it right) made a wide array of foods. For breakfast, there were eggs, variety of meats, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, two kinds of cheeses, bread, butter, jams, tea, coffee, fresh milk....My husband especially, loved the honey which was fresh and local. Dinner was huge as well, starting with amazing soup, bread, and then came the second course, and then dessert. It was evident that everything was prepared with love. We very much enjoyed our stay with this family. We loved meeting them all. Though our hosts did not speak english, their son in law, who manages the booking, does. We got along just fine, either with the help of the son-in-law, or using google translate. It was nice to meet him and his wife as well! The grandmother was also very kind, and showed us around the property. Their hospitality and warmth were the highlight of our month long trip to Romania. The village of Breb is a very special place.
