We stayed there for a few days and were absolutely thrilled: The location directly on the small river is magical and the beautiful bungalows are built in a great bamboo grove. It really comes up with a jungle feeling. The food was very tasty and authentic, real original Thai cuisine. Chef Wirot was incredibly helpful in all matters: shuttle service, great tips for excursions (including his scooter) and even took us on a private Sun Rise tour in the jungle. The food, cooked by Wirot's wife, was very tasty and authentic - real original Thai cuisine. If you want to experience the original Thailand, this is the place for you: we were the only foreigners there. We will visit the Khao Luang again and then definitely again at Wirot in the Kung Nok Tha Resort.

Located in Khanom, Stella Resort Khanom is a health resort for vegetarians, vegans and vegetarians. There is no savory food in the kitchen and it's like a kitchen. You couldn't ask for a better host than Stella, so helpful, kind and always happy around her customers.
