The people running the hostel are very very kind and helpful. We had some problems with our key but they were always immediately there to help. Location is also great! And nice that there was a kitchen so we could cook ourselves. The hostel is more suited for individual travelers than for backpackers who are eager to meet others.

The place is beautiful and located only half a block away from the bus station and it's very close to the main square too. Spacious and comfortable room and the breakfast was delicious. Every detail was carefully taken care of, and it really made a difference in my experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, clean, and welcoming place to stay. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Posada Portal de la Villa ligger i centrala Villa de Leyva och erbjuder en 24-timmarsreception, gratis parkering och en resedisk. Wi-Fi är gratis. Just the entrance is beautiful. You come in a garden with trees, gardening tools from back in the day and tables where people eat their breakfast. It’s very clean, staff is really kind and the, I believe, the owner, an older man is super sweet, and it’s super close to the Plaza Major.

Finca San Pedro -Alojamiento Campestre y Reserva Natural- ligger i Sogamoso, 25 km från Laguna de Tota, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och... Beautiful finca with amazing garden and friendly hosts/family who provided very useful information about the surroundings; most likely without I’d have overlooked the nice nearby small villages Iza and Nobsa (good for ruanas, crafts and sweets). Hosts offered me a very welcome transport to the station several times, plus interesting insights into the ceremonial house in their garden. Great memories!
