Situated in Kandy and with Kandy City Center Shopping Mall reachable within 1.5 km, Eden Kandy features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. I got stuck in Kandy during the latest cyclone. The hostel owner was so sweet and caring for all of us. Thank you again for taking care of us during such a difficult time! I would definitely recommend the hostel, it's very beautiful!

The decorative elements and the details really give you a cozy feeling. The room is clean and spacious with a beautiful view. Breakfast was so delicious, and they even catered to our vegan needs. We got a true local experience through interactions with the host, and we are really grateful. Would highly recommend:)

Boasting a shared lounge, a terrace as well as a restaurant, Carls' Corner is situated in the centre of Kandy, 1.9 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. After being at this place for 1 night , I just feel oh god can I stay here for a few more days . This place has a vibe . I wish if I could give a 10 star rating for the host too . Been on a backpacking trip in Srilanka for a week till now . As far as I have seen this is the best value for money dorm I have been in . Hopefully I'll come back here soon

Boasting a garden and free WiFi, Nature Lovers' Hostel is situated in Kandy, 1.8 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens and 6.7 km from Kandy railway station. My stay here was simply great. I mean, truth be told, the place isnt anything super special and it doesnt host a lot of people. However. The owner is an amazing human being. Takes care of you from the very start, to the very finish. Has great stories and is just all around amazing. So if you are looking for a place to stay the night before you want to get to Ella by train, and dont really care for being in the centre with alot of people, this is definitely the place for you.

Located in Kandy, 7.8 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall, The Bliss Hostel Kandy provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Everything. This is a magnificent place to stay. The owner Chathura is an absolute gentleman and is there to help you from your initial booking to checking how you are after your stay. I've never anywhere received this level of kindness, generosity and professionalism. As as solo traveller he recommended an itinerary of places to visit and see. He went above and beyond anything I could ever have imagined and he told me exactly what I should be paying for each trip and to message him if I felt I was being ripped off. Jude the hostel/Guest house manager is the coolest guy. Can't do enough for you. He is a fabulous chef and I enjoyed 5 terrific meals there. My room was the suite and I'd have paid and would have expected to pay 4/5 times the price. So comfortable. Sitting on the terrace each night chatting with Jude and the fellow travellers and listening to the sounds of nature was exceptional. The Bliss is an absolute gem and I implore anyone visiting Kandy to give it a try, you will definitely not be disappointed. A special shout out to Ajay the smiling tuk tuk driver who brought me on my trips each day. 10 stars to this little piece of Heaven

Situated in Kandy, less than 1 km from Kandy Museum, Kurumbunkz Kandy features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Their rooftop restaurant was awesome! Had their breakfast burrito twice and think it was one of the tastier things I had in Kandy. They're more of an upscale hostel, so the rooms are clean and well-designed. A little pricier, but certainly worth it if you're wanting a slightly more comfortable dorm experience! Location is good, about a 15 minute walk into the town alongside the lake and about 5 minutes from one of the performance centers for the Kandy traditional fire-dance experiences.
