Had their breakfast burrito twice and think it was one of the tastier things I had in Kandy. They're more of an upscale hostel, so the rooms are clean and well-designed. A little pricier, but certainly worth it if you're wanting a slightly more comfortable dorm experience! Location is good, about a 15 minute walk into the town alongside the lake and about 5 minutes from one of the performance centers for the Kandy traditional fire-dance experiences.

It is also just a 20 min walk to the Temple of the Tooth Relic! While others here lamented about the fact that it’s a 20 min walk, I on the other hand enjoyed the walk around the lake. At night, I just took the cab back to the property and it costed only US$1. The room is also big and the bathroom is clean. Hot water is also working.
