I am very happy to stay here.....it is worth the money a lot....

Had their breakfast burrito twice and think it was one of the tastier things I had in Kandy. They're more of an upscale hostel, so the rooms are clean and well-designed. A little pricier, but certainly worth it if you're wanting a slightly more comfortable dorm experience! Location is good, about a 15 minute walk into the town alongside the lake and about 5 minutes from one of the performance centers for the Kandy traditional fire-dance experiences.

We then talked for several minutes like we were old friends who’ve just reunited! The next day, when it was time for me to leave, he talked to my ride to make sure I arrive at the train station on time. He also helped me carry my luggage. Nihal is such a great person! The property itself is located on a hill with a nice view of the other hill surrounding the Kandy Lake. I really liked the vibe of the property - it is serene and green. It is also just a 20 min walk to the Temple of the Tooth Relic! While others here lamented about the fact that it’s a 20 min walk, I on the other hand enjoyed the walk around the lake. At night, I just took the cab back to the property and it costed only US$1. The room is also big and the bathroom is clean. Hot water is also working.
