The staff is friendly, the food is fantastic, and the location is just at the heart of the rainforest, which was exactly what I was looking for. Good for relaxation, there is no internet or signal at the cottage, which allows for social media detox. However, broadband is available near the main building/restaurant if you can't live without internet. I was able to do a couple of web/video calls to my office early in the morning before going deep into the forest.

There is a very nice extremely popular restaurant almost across the street serving fried fish for less the 6 euro, loved it, and there are several supermarkets and other places to eat. Buses run direct to the city center for five reales.
