The room was clean and beautifully designed. It was very well-equipped, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The owner was very kind and showed a genuine willingness to help with anything related to my stay.

Set in Anda, Villa Juan y Exequiela offers a shared lounge. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Everything. The hosts were amazing being so kind, caring and attentive. We loved everything about this accommodation that we stayed for extra nights. In a very good location just on the outskirts of the main area it provides comfort and quiet. The top of the building is a seated area for sunrise and sunsets. A very functional kitchen allows for cooking your own food - something we did a lot. The rooms are spacious, have great hot showers and are exceptionally clean. There is a kettle, fridge and crockery/cutlery. I'm If our visa was due to expire we would have stayed longer. There are local convenience shops and the beach and the cave are just a short walk away. Laundry services are available on site or hand wash and use the clothesline on the roof for drying. Scooter rental is below the accommodation. All in all we were made to feel part of the family and I would class this as a homestay. We miss the hosts dearly and hope to return again in the future. This was without doubt our best experience in the Philippines for accommodation coupled with location.

La piscina és gran i està ben cuidada. Tenen una gran cuina i barra de bar així que la família propietària sempre està disposada a fer-te menjar. Els plats són molt bons i sobretot molt grans! Les habitacions són grans i tenen nevera i una pica d’aigua. Ambient molt tranquil. La propietària no parla gaire anglès però es desviu per ajudar-te. A 12 minuts del port de Tagbilaran.

Set within 31 km of Chocolate Hills and 45 km of Baclayon Church, The Soul Center provides rooms in Batuan. Very good location, the chocolate hills view point are just 5 minutes away by motorbike. I got a free room upgrade because there was a small issue with the hot water in the cheaper room. The room was very clean and comfortable. The owner Jim was very friendly and helpful, and his wife even gave me some local sweets for breakfast. A large part of the guesthouse's revenue is used to support local children and the community, so by staying here, we are also helping a little.
