Albert Dock

The historic Albert Dock was once the centre of Liverpool’s bustling trading port. Today its brick warehouses have been converted into museums – the Tate Liverpool, International Slavery Museum and Beatles Story can all be found here. Souvenirs abound in the gift shops lining the docks, from nautically themed knick-knacks to licenced Beatles merchandise in the Fab4 Store.

Great place to visit , especially beetles museum .. Slavery museum is closed and also Tate gallery . Would advise people to walk further up street and visit port of Liverpool building and the white Star building , where you can get a drink on the roof top . My biggest suprise was the Liverpool library. Amazing building

This place has vastly changed since the eighties.

This place has vastly changed since the eighties. Huge investment has brought immense changes, opportunities and employment to the area. There are shops and restaurants here and also a Premier Inn. There is so much history to see, while you are at the Albert Docks. A lot of the original buildings are still standing and there is a habour, with beautiful sailing boats moored close by. The New Years Eve fireworks display happens here.

Fascinating Beatles Story Museum; a must for Beatles fans .Get your photo taken with the statues of the Fab Four across from the British Music Experience, and then check out the history of British rock there.

Really cool place to visit, especially late afternoon and evening. Good restaurants and bars plus Riverside walks by the legendary Mersey. Starting place for brilliant City and Beatles bus tours and nearby Pier Head for Mersey River cruises on a dazzle boat.

    Beautiful.

Beautiful. Take your own food and drink as a lot of things are overpriced. Stunning views. A mixture of old and new architecture. Feels like your at the seaside without a beach. The places we used took card payments but always a good idea to have some cash.

Great location, spacious family room, friendly staff who provided an extra bed (the sofa bed was a bit cosy for our 11 & 13 year old), quiet room, plentiful breakfast, lovely views over the Albert Dock, bar was lively in the evening and we enjoyed a drink there. All in all we had a great weekend at the hotel.

The apartment we had was stunning. On the 27th floor with a gorgeous view over the river across to Birkenhead. The living area was perfect for us. We had two good sized bedrooms with very comfortable beds also looking out over the river and there was plenty of wardrobe space. We each had our own bathroom which was beautiful and clean. The rest of the building was lovely and clean and very quiet. Although its princes dock it’s right next to Albert dock for bars, restaurants, shops and the museum.

Collected from a shop which is very close to the apartment. Just showed him the code on our confirmation key and were given the keys. The apartment is in a fantastic location near the city centre and Albert Docks. The little balcony gave great views over the city and the kitchen was stocked with washing up liquid, cloths and spray which are all helpful. Parking wasn't available at the apartment but was given an alternative which was just round the corner - reasonably priced too.

We could not fault the hotel. Very clean, helpful staff, great selection of food at the breakfast buffet. Rooms tidied everyday and replenished. The position of the hotel is perfect for the shopping centre and Albert Docks. We were fortunate with a great view looking out to the Docks. We certainly would return and recommend.

Staybridge Suites is in an ideal location. The Albert Dock, Liverpool One and all major attractions are all within walking distance. The Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The room we had was very clean and fully equipped. Comfy bed, good shower, wifi, even a social hour if you desire. Buffet style breakfast was plentiful and the discount given for the Kings Dock Car Park was an added bonus.

Perfect location—just steps away from Liverpool One and the Albert Docks. The apartment was spacious and easily accommodated us and our two little ones (6 and 1 years old). We really appreciated the fast Wi-Fi, having two bathrooms, and even our own garage - such great extras! Andy was fantastic with communication right from the time of booking. When we couldn’t find the cot, he responded immediately and guided us within minutes.
