IrelandBeautiful large bright, sparkling clean bed room with the most amazing comfortable bed. Food was delicious with generous portions for the price of the Sunday carvery, wide verity of tasty desserts and yummy cocktails. Leisure facilities including pool, jacuzzi and sauna were beautiful bright,clean and very well kept. And last but certainly not least the staff, from the informative polite lady we first met at reception to the happiest chef on the carvery and the attentive bar staff/mixologist, every single one of them greeted us with a smile and would do what they could to make our stay even more enjoyable.

A fine example of medieval Irish castle, though in ruins. The chapel is especially worth a look. And the Sheela-na-gig is located on the corner of the outside wall of the old rectory, which is now the museum. It's literally a 1-2 minute walk away. We also loved that it was walking distance from the rock of Cashel, lots of lovely pubs, hairdressers and cafes. The beds were comfy, kitchen well equipped (even had an air fryer!) and there was plenty of towels in the utility.
